The SME Business Advisory Services Program helps eligible small and medium sized businesses access professional services to grow and transform their business. Open to any business type or industry sector, applicants are eligible to apply for a maximum of $10,000 (excluding GST) of matched funding to get access to professional business advice in key areas. If approved, this funding can help support business growth and transformation, and contribute to future business viability.
Applications must be received by the Department for Innovation and Skills by 5:00pm, 17 May 2021. Program may close earlier than this date if fully subscribed.

JobKeeper extension 2 JK-V2-EX2
This extension period will run from 4 January 2021 to 28 March 2021.
You will need to show that your actual GST turnover has declined in the December 2020 quarter relative to a comparable period (generally the corresponding quarter in 2019). See the actual decline in turnover test.
You also need to have satisfied the original decline in turnover test. However, if you:
- were entitled to receive JobKeeper for fortnights before 28 September, you have already satisfied the original decline in turnover test
- are enrolling in JobKeeper for the first time from 28 September 2020, if you satisfy the actual decline in turnover test, you will also satisfy the original decline in turnover test (except for certain universities). You can enrol on that basis.
You can be eligible for JobKeeper extension 2 even if you were not eligible for JobKeeper extension 1.
The rates of the JobKeeper payment in this extension period are:
- Tier 1: $1,000 per fortnight (before tax)
- Tier 2: $650 per fortnight (before tax).

For those organisations that do not meet the eligibility for JobKeeper Version 2 who were receiving JobKeeper Version 1, if your decline in turnover is greater than 10% you are regarded as a JobKeeper Legacy Employer. Although there is no financial subsidy associated with a JobKeeper Legacy Employer, employers are able to:
- issue JobKeeper enabling stand down directions (with some changes) – for example, a direction to work less hours
- issue JobKeeper enabling directions for an employee to change their duties or work location
- make agreements with employees to work on different days or at different times.
Employers choosing to exercise these directions must have a certificate or statutory declaration (for small business employers / less than 15 employees) before doing so. REVENUE SA STATE GRANT (ROUND 2)
The Small Business Grant program provides support to South Australian small businesses that are highly impacted by the COVID19 pandemic.
The first round of Small Business Grants opened 21 April 2020 and closed 1 June 2020.
The second round of Small Business Grants includes $10,000 grants for eligible small businesses that employ staff and are receiving the JobKeeper extension from 28 September 2020 (JobKeeper extension 1) or from 4 January 2021 (JobKeeper extension 2).
The second round of Small Business Grants also introduces $3,000 grants for small businesses that do not employ staff, are operating from commercial premises, and are receiving JobKeeper extension 1 or 2.
